My aunt happens to be a pretty lonely lady and I always feel so bad for her. The thing is, she never really wants people to come over to her house. She keeps the place as clean as she can, but she’s old and it’s hard for her to clean like how she used to. I think she feels embarrassed about the mess in her house and the poor air quality. She dusts and all, but it seems like the dust collects faster than she can clean it up. One time I was visiting her and she just wanted me to leave. I told her that I would not and I was going to help her out. I explained to her after awhile that I thought her ductwork system needed to be cleaned out. I said that was where all the dust seemed to be coming from. So I called the HVAC company and I had them clean out her ductwork system. They showed before and after pictures and she was disgusted with all the dust buildup inside of the ductwork. She was glad that I did that for her, I covered the whole cost and everything. She let me help her clean up around the house after that and before I knew it, she was finally okay with letting more people come to visit her. Of course, she was always happy when I came over because I helped her a lot and she was thankful for what I did for her. She said she felt she could finally breathe again in her home because of the improved air quality.
