You think that you know somebody and what they will appreciate, but often times it turns out that you are mistaken. You never know what somebody has already purchased or how their taste may change over time. This is why I’ve been trying to give very practical gifts for the past 10 years. Instead of buying frivolous novelties, I have been purchasing functional items for my friends and family as often as possible. Unfortunately, not everybody enjoys my new approach. My sister, in particular, was very upset with her Christmas gift last year when I presented her with a coupon for Professional heating, cooling, and air quality control system maintenance and repair services. I had purchased her a 2-year contract with my favorite heating, cooling, and air quality dealership in town. I’ve been using the same indoor air quality repair service for as long as I can remember, and they have never let me down. I actually look forward to my indoor air temperature control repair and maintenance appointments because I notice a massive change in my indoor air quality and energy bills afterwards. After hearing my sister complain about her indoor air quality, utility bills, and uncomfortable temperature fluctuations I thought that she would be excited for a heating, cooling, and air quality control contract of her own. Instead, she cried and called me a bad sister before breaking my thermostat.
