Isn’t life so interesting? Every time you think that you have things figured out, everything changes. No matter what you plan for, the universe will deliver exactly what it wants you to experience. This is a lesson that I have had to learn over the course of my entire lifetime… And it has been very painful more often than not. When you have your heart set on one set of circumstances and everything goes the opposite direction it is definitely the cause of some emotional suffering. However, we all have to grow. That’s what I’m reminding myself now as I embark on my first-ever divorce. I’m extremely sad to say goodbye to my partner… But honestly I’m even more upset to get rid of the beautiful heating, cooling, and air quality control system that we purchased together. A few years ago we were living in a house with a rudimentary indoor air quality control system. By that, I mean that we had a forced air furnace and a few AC window units. Eventually we decided that the heating, cooling, and ventilation plan was not working out for us and it was extremely expensive to operate all of these separate temperature control devices. We called the local indoor air temperature control dealership and we round up investing in brand new, energy efficient indoor air handling equipment. Finally, we had a central heating and cooling system, a smart thermostat, clean air ducts, and even air purification system. Our indoor air felt and smelled amazing. But all of that has come to an end. At this point, our lawyers are drawing up the papers to split up the new HVAC system while they split up our marriage.
