I am not the type of person who has a lot of spare cash to throw around.
I am very careful with my monthly budgeting and I live on a shoestring budget, to begin with.
This is why I am always extremely cautious about unnecessary expenses in my life and all of the ways that I can accidentally cost myself extra money. At least, I thought that I was very careful… Until my air conditioning system broke down last week. Apparently, I have not been taking very good care of my central cooling device. I honestly forgot that I even had an air conditioning unit installed behind my house until the day that it stopped working. I went to my thermostat and carefully adjusted the indoor air temperature control settings. Unfortunately, the indoor air temperature did not respond to my indoor air quality control demands. In fact, there was zero air passing through my vents as I stood in front of the temperature control unit. Eventually, I decided I should probably call a heating, cooling, and air quality control specialist to inspect the broken air conditioning system. However, I also realized I did not have the extra cash in my budget for a professional air conditioning replacement. I came up with a novel solution that did not throw me. I decided to sleep at the office where I had access to indoor air temperature control, rather than praying that my air conditioning system would spontaneously start working again. Now, I am working on saving up the money for my AC repair. I hope that my co-workers don’t discover my secret under-desk bed, first.
