There is no doubt that I love to have a very clean house.
This is right up there with the most essential elements of life to me.
It’s sort of funny that I feel so strongly about keeping a clean house. Perhaps it’s due to the fact that my mom wasn’t much of a housekeeper. I grew up in a pretty privileged home. We had all the amenities to go along with the highest quality heating and air as well. My mom simply spent much of her time relaxing in all that air conditioning while someone else did all the cleaning. For some reason, that just didn’t sit well with me. And I have to say that I’m glad that it didn’t. I appreciate the fact that I had every advantage growing up. But I’m also glad that I didn’t end up feeling entitled. My husband and I have worked for all that we have and it’s really nice to be able to take care of it as well. So it came as a bit of a surprise when I learned that I wasn’t doing all I could when it came to keeping my house clean. Somehow, ductwork cleaning by the HVAC professionals sort of got by me. I’m not exactly sure how this happened but it did. When the HVAC technician who was doing the heating maintenance brought it up, I didn’t know what he was talking about. This is when I learned that dirty ductwork can really pose some indoor air quality problems. I checked into it online a bit more and ended up calling to make an appointment.
