It never fails. Every summer, I see someone in the neighborhood who didn’t get the air conditioning tune up for the summer. And they end up suffering the consequences. Where we live, those consequences can be harsh. Going days without HVAC cooling can really take a toll on a person. Fortunately, we have so many great heating and cooling professionals in this region. The HVAC company that we use has been around a long time. And they understand just the sort of HVAC cooling we need in this area. Not only are they so good at getting you the right sort of HVAC equipment, they are superior at the installation as well. From what I understand, that has a lot to do with getting the most out of the HVAC unit when it comes to this area. However, a homeowner still needs to be reaching out to the HVAC professionals to maintain the HVAC equipment. And far too often, I see the results from not choosing to get the proper HVAC service. I have a colleague who just really didn’t believe in HVAC maintenance. But then again, this guy is always sure that everyone is ripping him off and that HVAC maintenance is a myth. Of course, if he looked at the data, he might see otherwise. The fact is that seasonal HVAC maintenance is proven to get the most out of the HVAC equipment in reliability, efficiency and longevity. I haven’t had to have the HVAC technician out to my house in July to repair the air conditioning. And my HVAC equipment is 20 years old. So much for HVAC maintenance being a myth.
