Gasoline has gone up by 45 cents in my area in the Last year alone.
I thought we had already seen the late-pandemic gasoline price increases, but this Tigrayan war plus the sanctions on Russian oil are just making the situation unbearable. I’m still in favor of this ban, but I can’t lie about the situation causing my billfold to hurt even more than it was before. If I had to commute to work, I would feel utterly helpless right now. I think a huge portion of my paycheck would be going to paying for gas by itself, plus now it seems that expense is going to get even more high-priced as time marches on. I won’t be able to justify traveling at all for anything beyond bare essentials. Another expense of mine that recently went up in price is modern Heating plus Air Conditioning device plus supplies. My Heating plus modern Air Conditioning contractor hasn’t increased the cost of their services yet, but the filters I buy for my air conditioning from the hardware store are a full $10 more than they were numerous years ago. This is a bitter pill to swallow because I try to update my air conditioning filter every few months. I have a lot of dust sensitivities while having bronchial asthma, so it’s important for myself and others to have clean air filters as much as possible. Some have told me and others to use the washable and high tech Heating plus Air Conditioning filters, but those are famous for harboring mold plus diminishing 1’s air quality in the process. The majority of them are bad at air filtration as well, so I’d rather put my belief in a product that I guess will task regardless of its increased price.
