I think it is a great idea, and our guests seem to think that, too
In our home, we keep the air conditioning turned way down. When they come to visit, many people complain. It is kind of cold in here, in the summer, but this isn’t something people should complain about. It’s rude to complain about the temperature settings in someone else’s house! But that is how it is whenever we host a celebration, game night, etc. My family and I keep the thermostat much lower than most people do in their homes. Anyway, since the cold temperature seems to annoy the people who come over, I decided to try and do something about it. I’m hot-natured, but I’m not an awful hostess. That’s for sure. I’ve constantly tried to make sure that people are comfortable whenever they come over. That’s why I started to leave a little guest basket by the front door, with a blanket, warm slippers and a jacket in it. Anyone who comes over and thinks that it’s too cold may borrow something from the basket. I think it is a great idea, and our guests seem to think that, too. Even though we still keep the air conditioning turned way down in the summer, people seem to be more comfortable in our home. I’m happy that we decided to set up the guest tote, because I don’t want to stop using the air conditioning!
