I’m so thankful that I’m actually going back to the zone controlled HVAC of the office before too much longer.
I haven’t been able to get back to my office since April.
That’s when I was involved in an accident that really, I’m lucky to have walked away from. Apparently, this guy was messing with the air conditioning in his car and just ran straight through the intersection. Well, that is before he got to me and then t boned my in the driver’s side door. I don’t have any memory of that. In fact, I don’t even remember getting to work that day. All I can remember is walking out of the central air conditioning of the house that morning. And the accident happened on my way back home for work. Thankfully, I had some great medical care. Three surgeries later, I was at home and recovering on my own inside the great HVAC cooling of my house. I’ve never been more pleased that I actually invested in the latest in residential HVAC and all the HVAC technology that went with it. I live where it’s really hot and humid so I can imagine trying to deal with this recovery inside a hot house that didn’t have enough air conditioning. In fact, the smart thermostat so had my back when I first got home from the hospital. I was all bandaged and wrapped up that I would get really hot. So with the smart thermostat app on my phone, I was able to actually remotely adjust the thermostat setting to where it was comfortable.
