The house that we live in right now stays cold both in the summer and in the winter.
I don’t know why that is, but it’s just always that way for some reason or another.
Luckily for me, I am a person who is really hot natured most of the time and so the fact that the house is really cold does not really bother me all that much. However, my wife is not that way at all. She is constantly walking around complaining about how cold it is inside of the house. Every couple of hours, I have to check the thermostat to make sure that she has not turned the temperature all the way up to 90 degrees. I keep catching her turning the thermostat settings up more and more throughout the day, and this happens every single day. It has gotten to the point where it is starting to drive me crazy. It is not a big deal during the summer, because we don’t use our air conditioning all that much anyway because the house is already always cold! But during the winter, when the temperatures outside are really cold, she still turns the thermostat up. I just don’t understand her because there is just no reason that anyone needs to be that warm inside all the time. I don’t really know what to do about it, but talking to her about it certainly does not help. Maybe I need to talk to my HVAC company about it instead. There has to be some way that they can regulate the temperature in our house for us.
