My husband thought the air purifier was no longer necessary.

The pandemic waned and so did my husband’s feelings of needing the air purifier.

He didn’t seem to notice how much fresher and cleaner our house was, since we had the air purifier installed in the house.

The dust was at a minimum for the first time in years. There were no stale smells of last week’s dinner, and my asthma hadn’t bothered me since they put the air purifier in place. It wasn’t like the air purifier cost that much to run, and it didn’t make any noise. When the HVAC system was running, the air purifier was running, keeping our home cleaner and safer. He argued with me about not needing the air purifier, but I argued right back that we needed it. I didn’t know who was going to win the argument, but I knew I would keep the air purification system running for as long as we had the HVAC system. My husband was thinking along the same line, but he was sure we would get rid of the air purifier. I asked why it was so important for him to get rid of the air purifier since it was helping with our allergies and my asthma. He said that it used too much electricity, and he was trying to save some money. I reminded him how much money we were saving on inhalers and allergy pills and how it was much more than what we spent in energy bills. I knew he was just trying to help, but I knew how little the air purifier affected the energy bills, and I knew how much we saved on medicine winde we had the air purifier.
