I woke up the other morning, and my bathroom was freezing.
I had forgotten how cold it got in the bathroom during the winter.
I stepped onto the tiles and my feet went numb from the cold. I turned on the shower five minutes before I was ready to get in, so the floor of the tub was warm, but by then, I didn’t have much hot water left. I ran from the bathroom to the bedroom just so I wouldn’t freeze to death. I talked to my husband and told him I was tired of freezing every time I took a shower, and I wanted radiant heated flooring. He said he wasn’t going to get radiant heated flooring just because the bathroom was cold, but I disagreed. I couldn’t think of a better time to get radiant heated flooring. I also informed him that if he wouldn’t have radiant heating installed, i wold call the HVAC company and pay for it. I only wanted radiant heated flooring in my bathroom and I didn’t think that was too much to ask. He told me we would discuss it when he got home from work, but I wasn’t prepared to wait. I called the HVAC company and told them I wanted radiant heating installed in my bathroom. It took them a couple of days to come to the house, but I made sure they were there when my husband wasn’t. He would put the kibosh to my radiant heated flooring, and I won’t be happy until it happens, whether he likes it or not..
