Over the summer, the air conditioning system froze up on us but I was able to fix it.
When I was able to fix it myself, not only was I surprised, but I thought my wife was going to just keel over because she was so surprised that I did it.
I am never able to fix anything around my house. I am not exactly what you would call a Mr FIx It kind of person. I am not good at fixing things at all, and I never have been. Being this way has been a big issue for me for my whole life. I have never been able to fix anything and it’s always made me feel a little bit less than manly, to tell you the truth. My wife’s dad used to fix things around the house all the time whenever she was growing up but once she got married to me, I didn’t do that. It made her mad at first, and she used to think that I should have been able to fix anything at all around the house. She used to tell me that I would have been able to save money for us if only I knew how to do more things. That always made me feel terrible, and up until this summer, I still thought that I was a big doofus whenever it came to fixing anything at all around the house. However, for some reason, I was able to fix the air conditioning system whenever it froze up. No one was more surprised than me, that’s for sure. Well, except for maybe my wife. Whenever the A/C froze up, I turned it off for a while and then it just thawed out. Afterward, it worked again!
