Mom forgot how to set the temperature control, and might have dementia.

I went over to see my mom & Max last week, & mom was in tears. Max told me that after almost fifty years of marriage he was distraught about Mom’s health. I asked Max what the heck was going on? Max told me that Mom was looking for the temperature control manual last week. Mom couldn’t remember how to set the temperature, but Mom was a retired Heating, Ventilation, & A/C pro, & so I knew this was a sign of something seriously wrong with his health. I asked Mom how she was doing, & she said she was ready to go back to work. Mom thought he had been on vacation long enough, & he was ready to return to the Heating, Ventilation, & A/C dealer. I asked what Heating, Ventilation, & A/C corporation Mom wanted to go back to. He shook his head & laughed. Mom told me he wanted to go back to his Heating, Ventilation, & A/C dealership. The Heating, Ventilation, & A/C corporation he owned since I was a little boy. I wasn’t quite sure if I should remind him he had sold the Heating, Ventilation, & A/C corporation over ten years ago, but I didn’t need to. He sat down at the table & gave me an odd look. Mom told me he forgot he had sold the Heating, Ventilation, & A/C corporation & retired, & then she asked me what was happening. This morning he forgot how to set the temperature control unit, & now he forgot he sold his Heating, Ventilation, & A/C dealership. I told him I would make him a healthcare expert’s appointment, & I was sure with the proper medication he would be his aged self soon. I was hoping I was right.
