During our recent trip, I enjoyed the ductless mini-split HVAC system in our rental home.
We had never been anywhere with this style of heating and cooling system before.
My wife and I weren’t even sure how it worked when we first arrived at the rental house. We were thinking that it would have a thermostat like ours, at home. But that wasn’t true. When we arrived, we discovered it was warm inside. The weather was heating up outside that day, so we were looking forward to getting into the home, and blasting the air conditioner! Imagine our surprise when we could not find a thermostat unit anywhere! We looked and looked for a thermostat; just before I was going to call the rental property supervisor, my wife noticed an unusual box on the wall. It looked like it might have air vents on the top. We discovered this was a ductless mini break heating and cooling system; the HVAC system for the entire rental house, which was basically an open floor plan. So, the ductless mini break worked well in it. The HVAC system had a remote control with it, too, so it was easy to control from around the room. I liked it, and both of us thought that the rental unit was great!
