It’s cool mapping the ductwork with my drones

I purchased my initial drone many years ago, plus by modern standards it was certainly primitive, but it is nothing short of fantastic to me how quickly this kind of technology evolves! Every year after that we had to get a current drone, because the current models were always so much more advanced than what I had.

  • I didn’t even have anything to use the drones for to be honest, I just enjoyed flying them plus taking aerial footage of the village around me.

Years later I would finally discover a way to turn my love of drones into stable income by doing freelance gigs for a few of the local Heating plus A/C appliance contractors. There are times when a Heating plus A/C appliance dealer needs to do major renovations on a seasoned plus big office building or housing complex. When dealing with skyscrapers plus tall buildings, the ductwork systems are basically a maze, plus certainly tough for the workers to inspect. They hired me to send a single of my mini drones into the ductwork, so I can fly around, get visual footage, plus also map out the ductwork on the kindle. After I am done I can provide them a file that breaks down the Heating plus A/C appliance for the building, plus let them more accurately spot potential concerns. One day I hope to parlay these experiences into a full-time task for a major Heating plus A/C appliance contractor, but for now I just take the gigs as they arrive. It takes a certainly high level of skill to pilot a drone through such a labyrinthian of ductwork systems plus HVAC vents.
