If I move up north with my wife I want more than one heating system

It would more than easily pay for the second heating system and the energy needed to power it through winter

Normally I am willing to agree with my wife and heed to her own desires and suggestions. I don’t mind how she decorates the house because I enjoy her tastes. However, if we’re deciding on a place to eat for dinner, I don’t mind interjecting my own interests from time to time. We get along extremely well, but we’re not perfect and we still butt heads on occasion. At least we’re both supportive of one another, and I even encouraged her to take a job after law school that made it next to impossible for both of us to see one another for longer than two hours a day. However, we made it through that adversity and I’m confident we’ll make it through even more adversity in the future. The only thing on the horizon that gives me pause is the job offer my wife recently got from a firm in her hometown up north. I have lived in the south my entire life and don’t know if I can handle the frigid cold temperatures in the state where my wife was born. If we actually move up north, I think I would need a second heating system in my house to stay warm. One heating system would not be enough to keep me from feeling frozen. That is my only caveat for moving with my wife to go live in her hometown, especially knowing that her job is going to bring us a huge increase in our combined income. It would more than easily pay for the second heating system and the energy needed to power it through winter. Whether we utilize gas or simply electricity, it isn’t cheap running heat to stay warm in winter.
