I went camping in the middle of winter, and it was absolutely a single of the coolest experiences of my life, but obviously, I didn’t go tent camping or anything insane enjoy that; I own a 5th wheel that I took on the trip, and it was the first time that I have ever used the heating system on my camper, after taking a Winter time trip with my camper, I l acquired a lot about the heating system in my camper and about how campers are built.
First of all, I can say that campers shouldn’t be used often during the winter… Even though the camper has a built-in heating system to keep the camper warm, I discovered that the heating system doesn’t unquestionably do a wonderful job at heating up the camper; The heating system keeps the camper above cold, however there are absolutely some colder spots in the camper when I use the heating system.
Also, the heating system doesn’t prevent areas that are naturally from cold. The door in our camper is not sealed well, and on our first-night camping, the water pipes in front of the camper froze. There is literally a vent from the heating system right there, however it couldn’t fight the colder air. I have to say that the a/c works better in the camper than the heating system, although I am thankful that I tried it out, however next time, I will stick with the heating system in my apartment and save the camping for the Summer months. The a/cs work a lot better, and camping is also much more fun in the summer.
