I have consistently been fascinated with science fiction, for as long as I can remember.
My dad had an old box of sci-fi novels from the 50s and 60s that I stumbled across in the attic one morning, and I instantly became obsessed.
Space travel, teleportation, cloning, laser guns, and definitely robots, I loved all of it! For a while I was so preoccupied with science fiction that I stopped caring about my subjects at school! Eventually, thanks to a bit of guidance from my dad, I turned my preoccupation with robots into a career when I got into the Heating, Ventilation & A/C equipment industry! Of course every one of us don’t use robots in my work, but the high-tech workings of new Heating, Ventilation & A/C technology particularly looks similar to a sci-fi novel. Because of my fascination with this industry I consistently do a fair amount of outside research and studying about the latest Heating, Ventilation & A/C equipment inventions. Last year I even got to go to the Heating, Ventilation & A/C convention in Las Vegas, which was most definitely one of the coolest things I have ever witnessed. Reps from all the major Heating, Ventilation & A/C companies were there to demonstrate their newest models and advancements in technology. One of them was beta-testing a new category of remote controlled drone capable of cleaning the insides of ductwork systems. The Heating, Ventilation & A/C industry is getting a single step closer to robots, it would seem like! I am genuinely not sure if my boss will send me to the Heating, Ventilation & A/C equipment convention again this year, but I am pressuring him.
