Last summer, we had a terrible storm go through our area.
We lost the internet, telephone, and electricity.
I was upset because when the power came on, the HVAC system didn’t work. I was sure it probably had something to do with a reset switch needing to be pushed, but I didn’t know where to look for it. Since I didn’t have phone, I had to run into town to find an HVAC company. I looked up and down all the streets, but there was nothing. Either there were no HVAC companies in the area, or none of them put out signs to steer away from people with me. When I finally got in touch with an HVAC company, they said there were a lot of people with the same problem and they would get to me when they got to me. I didn’t like her attitude, but I didn’t have any comments to make. All I wanted to do was get my power on, reset the HVAC system and make phone calls again. I never realized how I was tied to my phone or the HVAC system. I think I’ll need to make sure my cellphone is fully charged all the time, and I’m going to get someone to show me how to reset the HVAC system. I’m not sure if I wanted to play with the HVAC system, but if it is a simple fix of pressing a reset button, I’ll do it. I don’t know if I need to ask my husband or the HVAC company, but I’m going to find out where that reset button is.
