Great deal because of package damaging

It is amazing what kind of deals you can get just because the packaging is damaged.

Or sometimes if the item in question has a few flaws but is perfectly functional.

For example, there is a book I have been looking forward to for a long time, and it just came out last month. I was all eager to go and get a copy for myself, and instead of paying $12.99 for a brand new one, I realized there was a copy with slight water damage for only $6.99! Of course I decided to go with the cheaper option, and when I got the book, I realized the water damage was so minor, it was almost unnoticeable. It is crazy to me that some people would rather pay double that just to have a completely new book, versus one that had minor damage but was still functional. I have noticed that with other things too, like heating and cooling. Not that long ago, I got a great deal on a space furnace because of the same issue. The space heater was perfect in every way, and still brand new. However, it was marked down a lot because of damaged packaging. I figured that it would sell quickly, however, it stayed on the air conditioning companies’ website for weeks! I went ahead and bought it, even though it wasn’t the model of area furnace I was looking for. I wanted one of the newer models that were safer, but that doesn’t mean I can’t sell this one and get a little extra money for a future heating device.
