There wasn’t much point in dining at this place leisurely.
One of the things that I hated so much during the worst of the pandemic was not getting out to eat. That and live music. Staying cooped up inside the central air conditioning of my home wasn’t the worst. And I got accustomed to working from home instead inside the commercial HVAC of the office. But I really did miss getting out of the house for a lovely dining experience. Lately, we had a few places open here in town that were really super popular right away. But one of those places was really disappointing from an HVAC standpoint. Unless you’re serving food outside, there should be good air conditioning for customers. Where we’re located, it’s for sure all about the air conditioning. For roughly eight months of the year, the HVAC is doing nothing but producing cooling comfort in our homes and our businesses. So you just don’t figure a restaurant around here to have anything less than good commercial HVAC. The HVAC equipment seems to be simply essential when it comes to a place where you’re serving food. But before we even got our drink orders in, I was hot. Now that can happen with me because I tend to be in need of a bit more air conditioning than most. But even my wife, who’s super sensitive to too much air conditioning, was sweating. There wasn’t much point in dining at this place leisurely. So we decided to forgo the appetizers and dessert and just order our entrees to go. I told the management on the way out that I was really disappointed with the HVAC and the air conditioning in his restaurant. I told him I sure hoped the food was a lot better and it was.
