- Not that long ago I was dealing with some car problems, and because of that I had to take turns on walking to places or using the bus, depending on how far the destination I needed to go was.
The entire time, I hated it. I missed my car a lot, and I was so glad to have it back. Well, now I am back in a similar situation, except this time, it is not my car, it is my air conditioning device. My A/C unit stopped responding a few days ago, and it has been nothing short of a furnace in my home. It is so heated! I don’t know how some people deal with it. I was not prepared to go without my cooling unit. Even though I called a local air conditioning professional, my appointment wasn’t going to be for another few days. But since I have a bit of extra money, I decided to turn this bad luck into good fortune. I booked a hotel about 30 minutes away, right next to the beach. I haven’t been swimming for years, and so I am going to spend these sunny, overheated days swimming. That cooling relief of water will feel great. Meanwhile, the HVAC system will be getting repaired by the air conditioning specialist, and I will come home to a functioning HVAC device. Unlike last time, I am glad this happened, because now I have something to look forward to.
