This summer, I’m expanding onto my home.
It’s a move I’ve been considering for a while now, but now I’m finally going to get it done! Up until now, it has never actually felt like it was quite the right time.
When is there not something else going on with my wife or kids? There have been a lot of obstacles to getting the job done. But, this summer, I have finally decided to move this to the top of the list, and get the addition built. I already have a general contractor, but my contractor is having troubles with the HVAC contractor that they chose. My contractor encouraged me, if I wanted to find my own HVAC contractor, then that would be fine with him. I am now on the lookout for a great HVAC contractor in my area. The general contractor is supposed to do this, but I have to be honest when I confess I am OK that he’s given me something to do! Otherwise, I would just be twiddling my thumbs while all of the other jobs get done. I think I need to be helpful on part of this project. The problem I am having now is that I have no idea how to hire an HVAC technician. I have never hired a contractor before, so I am calling around, asking folks for their recommendations and advice. I hope I’m able to find someone soon, because I don’t want to get behind before I get started!
