My sister plus my brother plus myself we’re happy that our parents were always prepared. They had backup ideas and plans in case every idea failed. This helped everyone of us on more than one occasion. There were more than a couple of times that have stuck out in my mind. Both of us were on a holiday plus the hotel gave our reservation to someone else. We had to go to a completely different hotel or sleep in our vehicle all night. Another time was the middle of an insane heat wave. My mom plus dad procrastinated having the heating, ventilation, plus AC system work done. When the AC system stopped blowing cold air, my mom plus dad find out that it was going to take 3 days for us to have an appointment to get the system fixed and a new Central AC system installed. Everyone of us were legitimately anxious due to the fact that temperatures were forecasted to be around a hundred degrees. Every one of us felt extremely nervous about dealing with the warm temperatures until we found out that Mom plus dad had a small air conditioner in the garage. They went to one of those stores where they could get a $50 window air conditioner plus install that in the living room while we waited for the AC appointment. 2 Days Later, the central AC system was fixed and we got rid of the window unit once again. Of course, my mom plus dad were prepared again for a situation that would have otherwise been a bad time.
