My older sister Lindsay is getting married so a week before the big day both of us have a spa day planned. My sister is going to get her hair trimmed and highlighted, and she then wants to get a body massage plus to get her leg hair sugared. She booked a special salon that does sugaring, waxing plus eyebrow threading. The main point of our spa morning is relaxation plus getting our bodies into the best shape possible for the big day, but I decided to focus mainly on my face. I have a complete facial booked that is supposed to deep clean my skin. I am going to get the dead skin scrubbed off plus all my blackheads removed. I am most happy to get my eyebrow hair taken care of. I had the option of doing waxing or threading for hair removal. I looked up the pros and cons to each one and I am sticking with threading. I have absolutely sensitive skin plus I have heard that sometimes waxing can irritate your skin, but additionally, if the threading salon isn’t careful, you can get burned with the wax. Eyebrow threading looks way gentler too with removal. They take a soft thread and work it over your hair growth row by row. With wax, it is possible random hairs get stuck and not removed. Threading your hair ensures there is no random hair left to pluck. The time to do each is about the same plus the cost is under $45. I assume I am going to appreciate the threading shop so much that I go every six weeks. I am happy to get pampered before Lindsay’s special day.
