I spent the entire Winter season obsessing over what kind of gas furnace I wanted.
I went through strange websites & poured over strange flyers I picked up. I even went to the local house center in search of more information about gas furnaces. By the time Spring arrived, I was no closer to choosing a gas furnace that would suit me than I was when I had the gas furnace inspections done. I called the local Heating plus A/C business to have my air conditioning serviced for Spring. By the time they serviced the A/C unit, I had already forgotten about the gas furnace. I spent the entire summer time enjoying my air conditioning, only giving a small thought to the gas furnace, once a while. When it came time to have the gas furnace serviced again, I was faced with my decision again. The Heating plus A/C specialist told me the gas furnace would not last for the entire Winter season. I was faced with a big decision whether to trust a Heating plus A/C business to not overcharge me & deliver me some pricey Heating plus A/C system I couldn’t afford, or to quickly choose something based on price. My wife decided for me when she called the Heating plus A/C business & asked for a business to come over & request a new Heating plus A/C system for our home. I wanted to yell at her & ask her what offered her the right to make that decision without consulting me. Instead, I thanked her & realized that if I had to decide alone, we would sit house in the dark, chilly to death.
