The flooding caused major moisture troubles in the basement

During the Spring & Summer weeks, there is consistently a lot of rain & storm hobby in the area.

My family & I have experienced a couple of floods during the last couple of years.

One particular flood caused major moisture troubles in the basement. It rained numerous afternoons in a row & there was a steady downpour. The rain did not have time to soak into the ground & everything in the section was flooded with water when the dam broke. I had a tin of water in the basement. I had the sump pump running, but there was still laying water in the basement a couple of afternoons later. I noticed a lot of moisture on the walls in the basement. Even after all of the water was drained & evaporated, there was still moisture on the walls. I contacted a corporation that handles flooding & water disfigure. The specialty Heating & Air Conditioning corporation sent a serviceman to evaluate the situation. The Heating & Air Conditioning serviceman agreed that moisture was a problem. She detected some mold growth in corners of the basement. The Heating & Air Conditioning serviceman commanded installing a dehumidifier to get rid of the excess moisture. Every one of us didn’t have to pay for a dehumidifier, because the Heating & Air Conditioning corporation had machines that were available for rent. Every one of us had a dehumidifier in the basement for 7 afternoons in a row & then all of the moisture was finally gone. Every one of us saved a lot of cash renting the dehumidifier instead of buying a equipment that would rest in the basement the rest of the year.
