The christmas lights kept triggering the gas furnace to shut off

My wife thinks that she is Clark Griswold at Christmas time.

The woman prefers to put up thoUnited Statesnds of twinkling lights all over the house & the front sod.

Our electric bill while in November, January, & January is through the roof because of the thoUnited Statesnds of twinkling lights. This year my wife bought $200 worth of lights that are LED & work from a remote control. They can be programmed to play rock n roll with a light show. The lights looked absolutely interesting, however every time my wife blocked them in, something shut off. She had to get a couple of unusual extension cords & run power from the street. Still, the Christmas lights kept triggering our gas furnace to shut off. Every time my wife flipped the switch to turn on the Christmas lights, both of us blew the breaker to the gas furnace. My wife had to call the heating supplier to find out why the gas furnace kept tripping the breaker. It turns out that the problem didn’t have anything to do with the Christmas lights at all. Both of us had a faulty breaker in the electric box & it needed to be swapped. The gas furnace service specialist could not swap the breaker. She told me that I should call an electrician to handle that work. She also advised me that the breaker looked absolutely old & might be a area that I would have to purchase online before calling an electrician to install it. The breaker was difficult to get, however luckily a local appliance store had several in stock. They weren’t even that upscale.
