I’ve been working at the same Heating and A/C supplier for the past couple of years and I unquestionably care about our job there; I’m also the only female Heating and A/C company at the supplier.
I am pretty certain that being the only lady at the supplier gives me a particular edge. It’s almost as if they cater to me, to a particular extent; My boss constantly lets me pick out my own schedule and whenever I have to go do heating or cooling maintenance at a residential job site, they consistently send another Heating and A/C company with me. It makes me laugh, because I suppose that I could handle myself just lovely with any of our heating systems or a/c maintenance buyers. I trust our buyers totally, so I never assume unsafe at any of the new home calls I have to make to do Heating and A/C repairs or upgrades. With that being said my boss just seems to assume the need to protect me at all costs. I have to say that I actually am loving the way they all seem to want to take care of me. Not only that, but they also tend to help me out when there’s any heavy lifting to be done. I guess that I really have job security at this Heating and A/C supplier, because my awesome boss has told me that he will never hire another female Heating and A/C company for his number one supplier. I hope that means that he could never find another lady who could do the Heating and A/C company job plus me and not that I’m such a terrible employee that he wouldn’t want another one of us in his life!
