This upcoming fall, I’ve decided to have our Mom transfer in with us.
He’s been having a couple of health concerns and I just don’t suppose comfortable leaving him at cabin long anymore.
He’s already told me that he doesn’t want to live in an assisted living cabin or any place like that, and so I’ve been thinking about letting him transfer in here with me for awhile at this point. I already got a new carpet and painting done in the in-law suite downstairs and now I just need to simply make a choice on what sort of Heating and Air Conditioning improvements the two of us need to make before he moves in, however my Mom tends to stay cold all day and night, so I actually don’t need to make any air conditioner improvements to the space. I have a window device air conditioning unit in there to help with cooling down the area. It’s a tiny bit more square footage than our central air conditioner plan is made for, so I tried to give it a slight boost with the window unit, but now, I’m just worried about the heating plan in the winter. I’m starting to think that it might be a nice option to put a ductless window split air conditioning system device in there for my lovely Mom, then the one that I looked at also has a remote control to adjust the thermostat, and I suppose that our Mom will prefer that. He has constantly loved all kinds of little gadgets and gizmos, and I suppose that being able to change up the heating and cooling from the comfort of his number one chair by the TV.
