This fall, I’ve made the choice to have my dad transfer in with us, but he’s been having a few health problems and I just don’t assume comfortable leaving him at home for much longer.
He’s already told myself and others that he doesn’t want to be living in an assisted residing home or any venue adore that, and so I’ve been thinking about letting him transfer in here with myself and others for a while now. I already got a brand new carpet and painting done in the in-law suite downstairs and now I just need to decide what sort of Heating & Air Conditioning improvements the people I was with and I need to make before he moves all of his stuff in. My father tends to stay freezing all the time, and so I legitimately don’t need to make any A/C improvements to the space. I have a window machine A/C in there to help with cooling down the area. It’s a little more square footage than my central A/C system is made for, so I tried to supply it a little boost with the window unit, now, I’m just ticked off about the heating method in the winter. I’m particularly thinking that it might be a good option to put a ductless window split A/C machine in there for my father! The one that I looked at also has a remote control to adjust the thermostat, and I think that my dad will adore that. He has regularly loved all kinds of little gadgets and gizmos, and I assume that being able to adjust the heating and cooling from the comfort of his best chair by the TV.
