My older sister always wanted to be an artist. She started drawing and painting when we were little kids. She won all sorts of competitions and awards for her art during school. Although I played piano, she was always the artistic one of the family. I was impressed by her talent. I was never jealous of my sibling. She once painted an album cover for my band when we released a collection of our music. People were more interested in our album cover than our music. I was not surprised by that reaction because the cover was really amazing. Unfortunately, a degree in art makes it difficult to find work after graduation. As a professional artist, my sister was unable to make a living. She floundered for a few years before going back to school. She took the necessary classes to become certified as a personal trainer. I wasn’t sure if this would be something she’d enjoy. There are a lot of fitness trainers who struggle to find enough clients to pay their bills. However, she ended up getting a job at one of the larger fitness centers in the city. Word of mouth gradually brought her more clients than she could handle. She eventually moved into her own facility and hired several trainers to work with her. She has created a successful business and seems very fulfilled by her work. My sister keeps herself in excellent physical condition. I’ve worked out with her, and she is very good at what she does. She is great at motivating and encouraging. I know that she still draws and paints as a hobby and sells some of her work.
