My mother’s hospital room has an isolated air idea inside

I take care of our disabled mother full time on top of the job I work.

She has a compromised immune idea and many major fractures in the base of her spine. She isn’t completely immobile, although she spends most of the afternoon in bed. Until she can heal some of these bones and regrow the muscles around them, she is going to be stuck in bed for the time being. Unluckyly, these are not her only troubles. The reason for her compromised immune idea is her aggressive case of Crohn’s disease. It also weakens bone strength, which inevitably led to the fractures that have made her immobile. That illness is severely destructive to the body. After years of constant flares, it wore a hole in her colon that goes through cycles of healing and splitting. Whenever she starts to get absolutely sick, she has to be hospitalized because of the sizable risk of sepsis if that hole in her colon ever reaches a critical size. It’s startling seeing her in the hospital and wondering if it will be her last time. The a single nice thing that they do for her in the hospital each time is supply her a private and isolated room. These rooms are always saved for people with infectious diseases that may or may not be airborne. The a/c, heat, and air filtration is isolated to each of these rooms so no viral or bacterial particles can migrate into other rooms in the hospital. Because her dust sensitivities and asthma are so severe, she responds more to any kind of medical treatment if she’s in an isolated room in the hospital. Aside from better heating and cooling control, the air purification means that she’s breathing the purest oxygen available at the hospital.
