You see, for the past 20 years I have been carefully collecting a beautiful collection of antique books from local thrift stores and book shops. I have been very carefully curating a perfect selection of the classics. I try my best to get them in perfect shape. Once they’re in my house, you know that I want to keep them in the best condition possible. Because I take so much pride in my antique book library I also placed a lot of importance on my central heating, cooling, and air quality control system. I realized a long time ago that my indoor air quality was going to make or break my antique book collection. I could very easily ruin all of the periodicals if I introduced too much humidity to the indoor air and caused them to mold. I could also easily dry out the indoor air environment and accidentally cause the pages to become brittle. Because I needed accurate air quality management along with a very precise range of indoor air temperatures, I began upgrading my heating, cooling, and air quality control system. At first, one room was situated with a special heating and cooling device that included humidity control. Now, the entire house has been outfitted with extremely detailed and accurate air temperature monitors and control systems. When people gasp over my book collection, I want them to take a step back and notice all of my HVAC equipment, too.
