I typically love to be prepared for unexpected things to happen, because it is never a great situation to be in when you’re not prepared for something.
Anyways, I am so ecstatic that I am prepared even with our Heating, Ventilation, and A/C systems, because last Wednesday there was a poor heat wave. The heat wave was too much for our air conditioner device to keep up with, and it ended up shutting off. I tried to turn the cooling device back on, but it was unresponsive, which is a poor sign. I absolutely still need to get it checked out. This would be incredibly poor in a heat wave and I could risk overheating, but thankfully, I absolutely had a portable Heating, Ventilation, and A/C method that I brought with me. I set up the portable A/C device and let it start cooling the home. Since it is just a portable cooling system, it can’t cool the home, but it is great enough to cool 1 room, and that is fine by me. I just stayed in 1 room for the entire duration of the heat wave, and then when the temperatures started going back to normal, that was when I suggested Heating, Ventilation, and A/C service. Unluckyly for me, I wasn’t the only 1 having a cooling device shut down. The A/C companies were booked and the soonest appointment is in 2 weeks; Guess I’m not the only 1 whose cooling system couldn’t keep up with the heat wave. I don’t mind waiting since the portable component will keep me cool till then, I just know poor for people who don’t have any other form of cooling.
