It’s really hard being a realtor to an HVAC professional.
I know that sounds a little bit strange, but let me tell you: every customer is not the same.
I used to think that I could treat everyone the same whenever they would come to me to try and help them find a new home. However, the first time that I tried to help an HVAC professional find a new home, I had a really rude awakening from that little dream. HVAC professionals are, by far, the pickiest group of people that I have ever met when it comes to buying a new house. The first time I tried to help this HVAC technician, I actually thought that I was being pranked! He was so picky and annoying about every single house that we looked at that I thought one of my friends must have sent him over to play a prank on me! However, it turned out that he was the real deal. He really was just that picky about his furnace and air conditioning system. I started thinking things like if he were so good at his job, then it shouldn’t be that big of a deal for him to fix a few things once he got moved into a new place. But this guy, just like every other HVAC technician that I have worked with, wanted no part of doing any work to his new home. They all want the HVAC systems completely modern and ready to go the minute that they get moved in. It’s really hard sometimes when you’re working with someone like that!
