I can’t tell you how many times I had my heating system fail while living in the North.
Plenty of times I had to resort to using my fireplace while waiting to have an HVAC technician come out to fix my heating system.
I never was a fan of having to pay all my money on emergency HVAC repairs, this is why I was thankful that I had my fireplace. As long as I was able to keep adding wood to the fire in the fireplace, I wouldn’t freeze to death. Of course, I was tired of all the issues with my heating system. The HVAC technician ended up telling me that it would be a good idea to just get a new heating system. I didn’t want to have to pay a fortune for a new heating system though, so I just had it repaired again. I finally decided that I was done living in the North with all these brutal winters. It was driving me nuts, and I yearned for the warmer weather all of the time. I finally decided to look at homes in the South, and I ended up finding a really nice place that I liked. It was a little bit of a hassle to make the move, but I was really happy to say goodbye to the North. Sure, I would miss my friends who live there, but I was looking forward to my new adventures in the South. I already was loving the warmer weather and I realized that I would no longer have to shovel snow again, or worry about my heating system breaking down.
