I hate it when work related stress makes myself and others clumsy and forgetful.
I went to the grocery store and got frozen chicken tenders for 50% off however left them on our dining room table for hours.
When I realized I had left them out hours later, they were already thawed and had to be thrown away. Since I had been looking forward to eating that chicken, I was absolutely aggravated with myself for our mistake. This is just a single example of our recent troubles, because I nearly left our new home sureterday without shorts on over our boxers. I haven’t been ‘off our game’ like this in years, at least not since I was a senior in university desperately learning for our final exams so I could graduate and get our diploma. However, I had few responsibilities back then besides our grades. I have a new home to take care of now, which repair that has to be done regardless of our disposition. The other afternoon I remembered that it had been many weeks since I last substituted our cooling system filter. In a panic, I rushed to the hardware store to get a new filter for our central cooling system. I think I wasn’t paying close enough attention while I was there, because something unexpected happened when I got home. I pulled out the old filter and realized that the new a single I obtained was the wrong size. Since I had already opened the packaging on the new cooling system filter, I couldn’t return it. I had to get back in our car and return to the hardware store to buy the correct cooling system filter.
