Now that summer is here, work is going to be busier than ever. That always occurs during the summer season. I have a company that is usually steady and busy during the summer, because of the job that we complete. My company handles heating and AC repairs. I live in part of the country where heating is not a huge issue. We rarely have temperatures below freezing and we have not seen snow in 40 years. Summer is the time when people freak out about air conditioning. The summer temperatures start in the middle of April and they don’t end until after December. During the month of January, the average temperature is still around 50 degrees. The air conditioner has to work throughout the year. Last year repairs and new installation jobs were up 40%. I was busier than ever and I didn’t have much time at home with my family. Before the summer this year, I found two certified HVAC repair technicians to help on the weekends. They will be part-time guys that receive a 1099 and work as independent contractors. Both of the guys have 10 years of experience with heating and air conditioning repairs and one of the guys worked as a plumber for 5 years. I definitely have all of my bases covered, when it comes to part-time help on the weekend. I am ready for the busy summer of my life and I hope that the phone will continuously ring off the hook. After all, that is the exact reason why I decided to hire more heating and AC repair technicians.
