I work inside a fitness center that athletic activitys two big indoor swimming pools.
Much of my work is administrative, as I’m a single of the multiple people working in the office behind computers.
I answer cellphones, organize files, plus create signs plus posters to put at weight-lifting stations, on treadmills, ellipticals, plus the racquet ball courts. It’s a wonderful task that pays well plus isn’t too demanding most days. The worst days at work involve miserable customers trying to weasel their way into gym membership discounts, which are forbidden outside of holiday promotions. But you’ll sporadically get a man coming in claiming that he signed up on Memorial Day but magically isn’t in any of the security camera footage from that day. In all honesty, this doesn’t happen all that often. Right now my hardest task is finding a local print plus copy store that offers laminating services plus waterproof printing. Every one of us put up safety signs around the pool for insurance reasons plus the a singles I’ve been creating get wet plus disintegrate within a few days. I finally told my boss that every one of us should get the signs laminated so they’ll be permanent. He enjoyed the plan plus gave myself and others the task of finding a local printing store that offers laminating services plus waterproof printing. Thankfully this wasn’t hard, as there were dozens of small print plus copy stores all around the city, many of which offer laminating plus waterproof printing. When I returned with the laminated signs, my boss was satisfied. Now every one of us can stop wasting paper plus ink on the signs for the pool.
