I didn't know propane can heat a house

I’ve always used propane to cook on the grill.

I love grilling anything like hot dogs, hamburgers, steaks, and chicken.

Since I’ve been vegetarian, the menu has changed a bit. Now I’m grilling eggplant, cauliflower steaks, potatoes, and corn. I like cooking on the grill, because it doesn’t add a lot of heat to the house. Excess heat causes the A/C to run constantly and that raises the electric bill significantly. The grill keeps the what outdoors where it can disappear into the air. The propane grill cooks evenly and provides plenty of heat for baking casseroles with the lid closed. I recently learned that propane can be used to heat your home too. My wife and I decided to buy an RV. We are semi retired and working from home and the thought of traveling on the road was too exciting to turn down. Our RV as a propane furnace. We have two propane tanks on the RV and they provide fuel to the furnace. The propane heat is very effective, but the fuel source is very expensive. On a cold and blustery day, we might go through half a tank of propane to run the furnace. The fees can add up quickly if you need to refill the tanks two times each week. Until we come up with a more effective way to heat our RV, we’re going to be forced to deal with the expensive heating situation. I do love being on the road and being semi retired and my wife and I are having a great time seeing more of the country. Buying an RV was one of the best decisions we ever made.
