All of the fires have caused terrible air quality in the valley

All of the wildfires have caused a good deal of problems with visibility and terrible air quality.

There is a lot of smoke in the air and it can be hard to breathe when I go outdoors; Yesterday I had to spend most of my day outside, because I needed to mow the lawn and trim the hedges.

I wore a bandana over my face to block most of the smoke, however still coughed a lot until I went back into the house. I realized that the air quality was a lot worse than I anticipated. At that point, I decided to get the air cleaner out of the garage. I have an air cleaner that I keep for emergencies, because of fires. There are wildfires in that area every single summer time and winter. The air cleaner comes in handy when the smoke and ash are thick. I set up the air cleaner near the front door in the study room. I had to change the air filter, because I had not used the unit in almost a year. As soon as I clogged in the air cleaner, it started right up. It was just as quiet as the day I bought the machine. After a couple of minutes, I could honestly tell that the air cleaner was toiling. There was a large difference between the air in the study room and the air in my home office where the air cleaner was not running. I am going to keep the unit set up for a couple of weeks. I hope it will help myself and others breathe more honestly while they battle the fires nearby.
