My aging mother in law has had a lot of difficulty in the past few years with our Winters, then he has lived alone for almost 6 years since our father-in-law passed & the cold & snow has started to take a toll on her both physically & emotionally. Many people in our area experience depression during The Long Winter time weeks & with her being alone it has escalated the situation greatly; Fortunately, she has a sibling who lives down in FL & the two of us all pitched in to send her on a getaway to see him. The two of us wanted to provide her a chop from the cold & ice & planned for her to stay about a week down there. The two of us arrange for someone to check on the home & even take care of her cat while she was awake however think that she would miss being current home as well. At least that’s what the two of us thought when the two of us put her on the plane however the two of us were surprised when the two of us acquired a call from her sibling saying that she was thinking of moving down to his area. The two of us never envisioned that she would want to make such a extreme transport at her age however blatantly the change in climate had unquestionably done a lot for her. She said that she no longer experience the aches & pains of bi-weekly living because of the warmer temperatures & her overall attitude had improved greatly due to the sunshine. The two of us knew the two of us had to honor her wishes however our only problem was the fact that she unquestionably disliked living in an air-conditioned environment. She would never even allow us to put in a window cooling system during the Summer so I couldn’t imagine how she was going to live with it on a year-round basis.
