A broken undefined is a bakery’s worst nightmare

I made a modern neighbor that runs a bakery with her dad.

Their main focus is bread, & let me tell you, they are pretty much professionals at everything there is to guess about bread.

They make so numerous weird creations, & it’s become a source of healing, & bonding for them individually & for their relationship, then she was telling me that 1 of their greatest expenses for the bakery is their energy bill because they have to keep the cool & always running, but not only do they have to offset the hot & cold temperatures of the industrial ovens, but they have to keep the at a particular temperature because of the ingredients in their breads. The only time they change the temperature on their thermostat is when they have a sizable batch they are making at 1 time & need to run numerous ovens for extended periods of time. They spend numerous times as much on electricity as they do for any other bill simply because of their air conditioner. She told me that 1 time their broke in the middle of a sizable batch baking day & none of their breads came out as they normally do because the temperature of the family room became way too hot for the ingredients to bind & stay put. I didn’t realize how important s were to bakeries until that moment. Obviously you wouldn’t want to be hot, but it highly impacts the ability for the food to come out the way it should too. I’m thinking about trying out baking for myself.
