When I was a youngster every one of us had to walk to our school, barefoot, in the snow, uphill both ways! And every one of us still never complained about it. Have you ever heard anyone talk in such a manner, about how awful youngsters these days are plus how great they used to be? I have found that this is 100% the case across all generations, plus the older folks consistently crap all over the younger folks. When I become an old man, I’m certain I will be no different. As a matter of fact, I am already seeing glimpses of it in my attitude plus my actions. I heard my buddy’s child complain about how tepid it was inside, plus the temperature control device was showing 72 degrees. I told the kid it wasn’t hot, it was 72, plus she scoffed at me, saying that the temperature control device should never be set higher than 72 degrees. I almost smacked the kid, who has never paid a utility bill in her life, nor has she known more than a few minutes without having ideal temperature control… Kids such as that have a/c at home, at their school, while shopping, plus in the transportation between it all! They literally do not get that climate control is a luxury, because they take it for granted. If I had the chance to do so I would show the kid some difficult living plus remove the a/c for a few weeks. If not the whole thing forever, or at least a key Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C device that would make the device inoperable, however give her a few weeks without any air conditioner device plus see if she changes her tune!
