Imagine the coldest winter night, and there’s no hot water. Well, I’m not sure how people took batches long before water heating systems were a thing. But, it’s hard to take a shower when the water is freezing in winter. Anyway, last winter, the entire family came to stay with my partner and I. It was my time to host Christmas dinner, and we had the room to host everyone. So, both our families were there on the 22nd. Now, having so many people under one roof isn’t all fun and games. People can get quite anxious, especially when the weather was keeping all of us indoors. Winter was brutal which made it hard to leave the house and drive to the city. On top of that, we were having issues with the water heating system. We found out the water heating system wasn’t working when one of my nieces wanted to take a shower. My partner went to investigate, and it seemed the issue was the water heater. Since we aren’t experts in this area, we had to call for help from a nearby HVAC and Plumbing business. They sent over a plumber to inspect why the water heating system wasn’t working. We had to solve this matter immediately before more people arrived, and wanted to take a shower. The plumber told us there were some loose wires that caused the water heating system to fail. He made sure to attach them correctly, and then serviced the heating system. After that, we had running hot water in the house which was such a relief.
