As much as I truly loved and enjoyed my home, there was one slight issue that continually bothered me.
It seemed like the thermostat never worked.
Which is unusual, because when I bought the home, I knew that the HVAC machine as well as the thermostat were brand new. And while the heating and air conditioning system we don’t generally have issues with, it’s the thermostat that makes me think otherwise. I tried searching online to see if someone could solve my thermostat issues, but they weren’t very helpful. A lot of the issues mentioned I either knew weren’t a problem or they were too vague. I really didn’t want to call a heating and air conditioning worker out just to diagnose the issue with the thermostat, it just seemed like a waste. However, I didn’t feel like I had much choice. So I called a HVAC worker, and it didn’t take long to figure out the issue. It turns out, there was nothing wrong with the actual thermostat, it was more of the placement. The thermostat was right next to the kitchen. Since the kitchen can get pretty heated while cooking, it was causing the thermostat not to function properly. With the A/C worker’s help, the thermostat was moved to a much better location, and ever since then, I have not had an issue. The thermostat is now back to working like brand new, and I am just surprised that it was such a minor issue, but glad to have it resolved.
