My wife and I decided to buy a space heater this winter. The kitchen is always very drafty and cold and we spend a lot of time in that room. My wife was very cold last weekend when we had our first winter storm. She made the suggestion to buy the space heater and I thought it was a good idea. We went to town to run some errands and we went to a hardware store to find a space heater. I was surprised by a huge selection of machines. The hardware store had many different space heaters ranging in size, price, and heating capabilities. My wife and I picked out a small space heater with a temperature dial. When we got back to the house from going to the grocery store and the hardware store, I opened the box and started looking around the kitchen for a place to put the space heater. I wanted to find a spot where the space heater could sit all of the time and be out of the way. I found a spot by the cupboard with all of our garlic, onion, salt, and pepper. I placed the space heater under the cupboard and I found an outlet close enough for the cord. My wife loves having the space heater in the kitchen, especially in the morning when she is making breakfast. We always get up early in the morning for coffee, eggs, and toast, but now we don’t have to worry about the cold. For $25, that small machine is really something.
