Marshall has been living on his own for a year now. Ever since college, he had rented apartments with roommates in the city. It was so much fun living with mates while in college and after getting his first job. They would hang out, watch the game, and even invite girls over for a party now and then. But, when Marshall got a steady girlfriend, he said that he wanted to change his living status. His girlfriend is a focused lady with a thriving career, and she made it clear she wasn’t into the bro lifestyle. After one risky party with girls that she found out about, Marshall knew it was time to grow up and move. However, he opted to buy a house to move into another rental apartment. He had the money to pay for a house, and it was time to make that first investment. One evening while hanging out with his girlfriend at his new house, Marshall came across a puddle of water in his basement. This was right beneath the cooling system which had Marshall worried. They were using the cooling system since it was in the middle of summer. Marshall decided to contact the HVAC company the following morning to come check the source of the moisture. When the HVAC technician arrived, Marshall directed him to the basement where he began his investigation. The issue was a clogged drain line which was blocking moisture from the cooling system from reaching the drain pan. The blockage was caused by algae that the HVAC technician removed. He also replaced the dirty air filter which improved the cooling system’s performance.
